What’s Happening in My Groovy Green World

What's Happening in My Groovy Green World Groovy Green Livin [1]

It’s been a while since I’ve given you an update on all the Groovy Green Livin happenings.

Here’s some of what’s been going on in my world.

Headed to ShiftCon in Los Angeles

On Thursday I’m headed back to LA for what promises to be another fabulous weekend [2]What's Happening in My Groovy Green World Groovy Green Livin [2] at ShiftCon. ShiftCon [3] is the first social media conference for bloggers interested in wellness, sustainability & activism. This conference blends workshops, networking, parties, and intense collaboration of changemakers in one place. This year I’ve been asked lead a tribe called “Detoxifying the Home” [4] along with Alicia Voorhies of The Soft Landing [5] and Andrea Kessel Fabry of It Takes Time [6]. I’m also going to be speaking again alongside two women I respect as leaders in the green movement and who I’m honored to call my friends: Lindsay Dahl of Beautycounter [7] and Lindsay Dahl’s Blog [8]and Micaela Preston of Mindful Momma. Our panel is called “Beauty and the Beast, Navigating the World of Green Beauty”.

Writing for HealthyWay

In addition to writing for Huffington Post [9] and Moms Clean Air Force [10], I’ve been hired by HealthyWay to write about  health, fitness, well-being and sustainability. HealthyWay is powered by Anwers.com . Click HERE [11] to read my first few posts. Stay tuned for more!

Brand Ambassador for Cree LED bulbs

I’m working closely with Cree LED bulbs [12], bringing you all sorts of information on why making the switch to LED bulbs is so important. In case you missed it, I just tested out a pretty cool DIY project [13] using a Cree LED bulb.

Lunch with Tom’s of Maine

What's Happening in My Groovy Green World Groovy Green Livin [14]

Last week I was invited to Ogunquit, Maine for a blogger outing with Tom’s of Maine. I’ve been working with Tom’s as a brand ambassador in their Circle of Goodness. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to join them for the entire trip, but I was able to head up to Ogunquit for a wonderful lunch at MC Perkins Cove [15]. Connecting with some of the other bloggers in the Circle of Goodness and with the wonderful Tom’s of Maine team was a highlight. I feel very fortunate since Boston is just a few hours from the Tom’s of Maine headquarters.

Stonyfield YoGetter

I’m continuing my work with Stonyfield as a YoGetter Blogger Captain [16]. I manage a team of 23 bloggers and I seem to sample my way through all of the delicious Stonyfield products. Stay tuned for more reviews and great info!

Instagram

I generally write a few times a week on this site. If you’re craving more be sure to follow my Instagram feed. On Instagram my posts tend to be much more personal with a glimpse into my private world-my workouts, the food I’m eating and everything in between.

What’s going on in your world? I would love to hear.
