Patagonia Shoe Giveaway and More!

Recently I mentioned on Facebook and Twitter how awesomely green Patagonia is. The company is about as groovy green as they come-they have in place a program called Common Threads where they take back old outdoor garments for recycling into new fibers. They are now partnering with eBay, the world biggest online second-hand marketplace, to encourage their customers to “reduce, reuse and recycle” by buying their gear second-hand rather than new.

But wait-there’s more…..Patagonia will be donating $10 for every pair of Patagonia shoes sold on OnlineShoes.com to one of my all-time favorite charities and an organization that I blog for: Healthy Child Healthy World (from October 4, 2011-October 17, 2011). If you’re not familiar with Healthy Child Healthy World they’re a non-profit involved in raising awareness and responsibility, inspiring parents to protect young children from harmful chemicals.

So you can only imagine how excited I was when Onlineshoes.com (a site I’ve been ordering shoes from for years) asked me if I wanted to give away a pair of Patagonia shoes to YOU, my amazing readers.

These are my favorite Patagonia shoes-I have them on right now. They will definitely be worn a lot this season.

They have a great selection of men’s, women’s and children’s shoes.

ONE lucky winner (drawn randomly via Random.org) will receive a PAIR OF PATAGONIA SHOES OF YOUR CHOICE and a Healthy Home Book from Healthy Child Healthy World.

Oh my – so many to choose from. I’ve seen you wearing your favs – and those are pretty awesome. But I think the Lugano Lace High Waterproof Sable Brown would be more practical for me – and SOOO more stylish than my current waterproof boots!
