green invention

Looking at the latest and greatest in green inventions, not only are they are pretty cool but they can also help reduce your carbon footprint.  Green inventions and clean technologies are popping up everywhere because inventors know that going green is good business.

There are so many to choose from, each attempting to make your life a bit simpler and a bit greener.  Not all will make it big-just a few of the many will catch on and go viral.

Hop on over to Eco Snobbery Sucks and take a look at my pick of 5 green inventions that are poised to go viral.

Let me know if you think any of the five have what it takes to make it big. I’ll let you know which is my favorite.

  1. I personally like the human powered electricity. I work out a lot and I find myself on the electric powered treadmill most of the time. I look around a the gym and juts think about all the electricity that is being used for all these machines. This seems like a very DO-able green invention and what a great concept. I picture all these people running and their energy coning together to create electricity! What a neat concept! I also really like the pizza box idea too. I eat at a vegan pizza place sometimes and I always think they need something other then this large cardboard box to keep their pizzas in because it ruins what they stand for. Thanks for the post. :)

  2. Hi Meg-I too look around the gym and see all the people using the machines powered by electricity. What a great source of energy for gyms to tap into! It really hasn’t caught on yet-maybe someday. The pizza box is my favorite-such a great way, simple way to get two uses out of one box. I also eat vegan pizza-I wish there was a vegan pizza place close by!

  3. I like the human-powered electricity idea, too! Gyms are quite wasteful even if they didn’t contain machines! Think of the air conditioning during warmer months. I’ve never understood why people can’t stand “normal” room temperature when they’re working out – they’re there to sweat!!!

  4. I have to say, as a gym person, that it’s quite unbearable without air conditioning. I do like hot yoga-so maybe I could get used to it??
